Olympic Mica Paint Centre, in Vanderbijlpark, is excited to have opened its doors as a Mica Paint Centre in December 2019.

This new Mica Paint Centre store was originally started in 1991 as a paint and hardware store by Johnny Vanos, with his son, and now current owner, George, joining him in 1997.

Johnny and George Vanos have been proudly serving their community with their family business for more than 28 years now and joining the Mica family will allow them to serve their community with an even wider range of products, brands and incredible specials. George Vanos currently runs Olympic Mica Paint Centre and boasts an impressive 20 years of paint experience that he assists his customers with. This incredible paint centre will go the extra mile to find the correct paint solution and advice for you – ensuring your success with your job!

Olympic Mica Paint Centre strives to deliver excellent customer service, product knowledge & turnkey solutions for customers to create a perfect paint job every time.

This store is a specialised paint centre, that offers decorative paints, arts & crafts, interior and exterior wall coatings, waterproofing, roof coatings, industrial coatings & solvent based coatings.

Olympic Mica Paint Centre also offers regular arts & crafts workshops with Granny B’s Old Fashioned Paint to guide novice & experienced customers to create their own masterpieces. We also offer extensive knowledge on decorative coatings & troubleshooting around common paint related issues.

We are happy to also be able to offer our customers plumbing fittings as well as basic hardware, tile adhesives, grout, basic safety gear, gardening equipment, pothole repair kits and power tools. We stock quality and well-known brands such as Duram, ABE, Mapei, Flash Harry, Excelsior, Top Paints, Prominent Paints, Plascon, Dulux and more!

We pride ourselves on our clean and neat store, friendly and helpful staff and secure and ample parking facilities. We also happily do deliveries in the Vaal area to deliver our customer’s products straight to their doors!

At Olympic Mica Paint Centre, we care about our community and try to give back wherever we can. Our store often gives cash donations and paint donations to the local SPCA. We assist with pothole repairs in our area. We have also donated paint to a big project at one of our local schools, THS Carel De Wet to paint and upgrade their cooking class.
